Save Booking Settings in Booking Templates
If the settings a user defined through the bookings wizard could be saved into a template then they would be able to select a bookings template for those defined for multiple competitions and save much time and effort. Futhermore if a competition template could include a selction of a bookings template then setting up a diary of competitions which changes little from year to year would become a breeze. Sorry Stephen & Nick had to put this one on!

Something more equating the useful default settings of the start sheet would make a dent into this problem - the start sheet defaults seem to save settings for singles and pairs events separately - nothing similar for bookings which is time consuming.

I was thinking more that if booking settings (once set up using the bookings wizard) were saved in a template then the open competition wizard could allow you to select a bookings template on the screen where you choose the date of the competition. The bookings wizard could be run from the Competitions panel akin to Set Up (Competition) Template you could have Set Up Bookings Template.

Would be better if the booking wizard could be merged with the open competition wizard as well. So everything for opening a competition could be done in one setting.
