  I agree with Paul, all local clubs do not allow swapping.

  Don't do pairs swapping and substitutes then!! Just do static pairs. Best x of y pairs winter league is a very popular format. And tedious to do manually or using complex to do using excel.

  This is the difficulty for us - how to handle substitutes or players swapping teams.
  For example, if week one A plays with B and C plays with D, how are the results calculated if week two A plays with D and B plays with C! There are a number of different possible ways to create an overall result!

  This would be useful if you could allow substitutes occassionally. We run our winter league as pairs betterball best 7 rounds for m9 to count and each pair can use 2 subs.

  ps I need this to work in the Society version too, We run a 10 week event in winter months where we do savage handicapping so cannot be run in Congu approved versions.

  I like the idea even although we hardly have any pairs competitions all year. I wish we played more. These kind of extras; best of series, eclectics certainly keep the interest of players throughout a season so certainly would be a plus for clubs that have more pairs competitions than us.
